Holiday Inn Halifax Harbourview Hotel Pet Policy
It is our pleasure to welcome your pet to our pet friendly Halifax hotel. Please inform the hotel that you are bringing your pet when making your reservations for all specific restrictions.
To ensure a comfortable stay for yourself and your fellow guests, we would appreciate it if you would please observe the following guidelines:
- Size restrictions. Dogs cannot be over 20lbs. (9kg) in weight.
- Pets are restricted to the first floor rooms which are non smoking. Must contact hotel for specific restrictions.
- There is a $25.00 (CAD) per stay fee for cleaning.
- Pet deposit: $100.00 (CAD) or credit card pre authorization per stay.
- Your pet must be kept on a leash when it is in the hotel or on hotel property, unless it is in your room.
- We regret that pets are not allowed in any food and beverage outlets, or the pool area of the hotel. This exclusion does not apply to guide dogs.
- You are responsible for cleaning up after your pet on hotel property as well as in and around Halifax.
- Any disturbances, such as barking, should be curtailed to ensure that other guests are not inconvenienced.
- Please contact the Housekeeping Department to arrange for a convenient time for servicing your room. No attempt will be made to enter if there is a pet in the room, unless the owner is present. The pet owner should be in the room when it is cleaned if the pet is present.
- You agree to be responsible for all property damages and/or personal injuries resulting from your pet. You further agree to indemnify and hold harmless the hotel; it’s owners and operators, from all liability and damage suffered as a result of your pet.
